Lay out scraps
Figure out what you will need to make your ramp stable. Chickens don't weigh much, but you want it to be something that you can move around easily without breaking.
Using similar sized plywood to stabilize the top pieces, screw in the middle piece
Add the stronger stabilizing boards
Screw them in aside the plywood
Cut off the excess
Using your circular saw (and protective eyewear) even out the top and bottom of the ramp.
Cut the steps
They only need to be about an inch wide, use leftover plywood. Attach them with screws. Space them every 2-3 inches or so.
Attach to the coop
Using another hook and eye, attach the ramp to the coop. If you have faith that your chicks won't knock it over, you can leave it without attaching it.
